This 10-day cultural safari takes you through some of Kenya’s most stunning landscapes, the rolling plains of the Masai Mara, before transitioning to the serene beaches of Diani.

Along the way, you’ll experience Kenya’s rich cultural diversity, explore wildlife-packed national parks, and unwind
by the Indian Ocean.

Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve from Nairobi

The safari starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi and after a short safari briefing by your safari driver-guide, you will depart Nairobi and embark on your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve by 7:00 am. You will stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. You'll arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30 pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the big cats such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, elephants, and wildebeests. Our guide will try his best to show you not just the Big Five animals but the ''Big Nine'' as well. You'll return to your tent camp by 6.30 pm

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve-Game Drives

After an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will head to the reserve for either a full-day safari game drive with a packed picnic lunch or a morning and afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem rich with a variety of wildlife species including; wildebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs, Thomson gazelles, zebras, hyenas, wild dogs, and many more. On this game drive, you will have an opportunity to spot these animals. Later, you'll visit the Mara River to enjoy the views of Nile crocodiles and many animals like buffaloes and elephants drinking water. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, checkout and depart to Lake Nakuru National Park which is about 5 hours drive from Mara gate. Upon reaching Nakuru accommodation check in, have dinner, and relax for the day.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

After early breakfast, proceed to Nakuru for morning game drives and continue till around noon. Post lunch, proceed to Lake Naivasha and proceed with a boat ride in Lake Naivasha where you'll spot hippos, various bird species, and possibly giraffes and zebras along the shores. After the boat ride, take a walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can walk freely among wildlife like impalas, zebras, and waterbucks. Proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will check out and proceed to Amboseli National Park through Nairobi. You will have a brief stop in Nairobi maybe to have lunch (own cost) and stretch before proceeding with your journey to Amboseli. On arrival in Amboseli, you will check in at your accommodation, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight at your lodge/camp.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park Full Day

You'll wake up early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. With a packed lunch provided, an optional visit to a Maasai village can be planned after breakfast. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range. Left harassed by poachers, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any safari.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park to Diani

After breakfast, you will be dropped off at Emali Trains Station for your train ride to Mombasa, where you’ll be transferred to your Diani beach accommodation upon arrival at Mombasa Terminus. Check in at your beach resort and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Unwind under the swaying palms, take a dip in the ocean, or enjoy beach activities before dinner at your resort.

Day 8: Diani Beaches (Wasini Dolphin Safari)

You will leave your beach resort or lodge early for an amazing tour of the Wasini dolphin adventure. The scenic route will take you through lush coconut and cashew nut farmlands and the villages of the Digo people. On arrival at Shimoni Jetty, board a motorized glass bottom dhow (boat), which will sail you through an enchanting seascape of islands to the richest marine park in Kenya (Kisite Island). Being escorted by a dolphin expert makes this Wasini trip more enjoyable. Kisite Island's natural coral garden is where you will snorkel and marvel at the prolific marine life. A traditional, sumptuous seafood lunch will be served on board to ensure maximum time with the dolphins, or you can proceed to Wasini Island's restaurant. Mupunguti Island exploration provides good vantage points for watching the dolphins play and listening in the tranquil silence out for dolphin whistles blowing off. Thereafter, sail back to Shimoni Jetty for your transfer back to your hotel.

Day 9: Diani Beaches

Have a leisurely breakfast. Thereafter, take advantage of the recreational options offered, from refreshing swims in the pool to thrilling water sports. Lunch is served at the resort offering an assortment of delicacies. The afternoon is dedicated to relaxation on the pristine beach. Immerse yourself in Diani beach life—explore the soft sands, sunbathe, or stroll along the shoreline at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy entertainment hosted by the resort, perfect for unwinding after a day of self-directed activities. Conclude with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay in your beach paradise.

Day 10: Diani to Nairobi

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some free time on the beach before checking out on your final day. Depending on your flight schedule, you can opt for some last-minute shopping or a beach stroll. Transfer to Ukunda Airstrip for your onward flight to Nairobi, bringing your unforgettable bush-to-beach safari to a close.

    This safari tour was absolutely incredible! 10 days but worth it. Definitely an unforgettable experience – highly recommended!
